The real shame in the financial world ....

is the lying brokers who have refused to allow their clients to understand that Gold and Silver and other REAL investments are available to them. The "flight to quality" that has been spoken of by the financial heads should be a bit of a wake up call... WHAT a flight to quality? What have you not been in QUALITY all along? Why have your brokers pushed derivatives and hedge funds and shorts and longs and all this other stuff when all the while you could have been in QUALITY. and VALUE? Well for one, once you have a silver 10 ounce bar in your possession you no longer need a broker. You have no storage costs and no fees, and so the BROKEr has no more money to make. You can SELL you 10 ounce silver bar on EBAY or through an add in the local news paper, YOU DO NOT NEED THE PARASITE and more and so he will not tell you about real investments for the average person that will secure your future WITHOUT HIM BEING A PART OF IT.

The sub prime crises is NOT A SURPRISE. THE BAIL OUT COMING for the banks and lenders and greedy home owners will not be a surprise either, they did it before they will do it again. BUT HOW WILL THEY DO IT? they will print more and more money ( Federal reserve notes) and or electronic equivalents in treasury notes and other paper houses) and so increase the money supply even more, exacerbating the Dollars fall against anything Real.

If you will go to our website at www.proverbseleveno ne.blogspot. com you will see that these things have been understood for a long time. the price of Silver at the time of the origin of the site was some where4re around 7 Bucks and Gold was under 4OO Silver and gold have both DOUBLED. HAS the stock market? The dollar has Fallen some15% or more and Inflation has gobbled up your FRNS.

Silver may go UP and Down day to day. Today it is up to over 14FRNS,

THE FRN DOLLAR will go down EVERY DAY. It's called Inflation, a hidden tax on your FRN purchasing power. EVERY DAY Inflation is eating away at your purchasing power in one sector of the economy or another. The Government LIES about the real inflation index and plays number games in order to make it look like inflation is only about 2-3 %.

You have 100 FRN today that will be worth 97 FRNS this time next year.
Or better yet...
I graduated high school in 1982, I bought a Car, and 1972 Buick Electra 225 ( nice Car) for 600 FRNs. OK generally speaking with a few exceptions, What cost $600 in 1982 would cost $1283.31 in 2006.
Also, if you were to buy exactly the same valued Car in 2006 and 1982,they would cost you $600 and $280.52 respectively. ( according to a Inflation calculator)
And this is by the conservative Consumer Price Index!

OK how about 1000 in 1985?
has the same buying power as
$1,937.64 in 2007

Silver averaged 6.13 Dollars per ounce in 1985 with a high of about 6.80 or so and a low of around 5.50. So let us say for the sake of argument 6. At 6 Dollars one could have bought about 163.12 ounces of silver
based upon the Average price of Silver in each year...( without buying low or high)
1985---163.12
1986---183.15
1987---142.85
1988---153.14
1989---181.81
1990---207.46
1991---246.91
1992---253.80
1993---232.07
1994---189.39
1995---192.30
1996---192.30
1997---203.87
1998---180.50
1999---191.93
2000---202.02
2001---228.83
2002---217.43
2003---205.33
2004---149.90
2005---136.69
2006---86.65
2007---76.10

Total=3785 ounces of silver
52,999.80 based on 22,000 FRN conversion. @14FRNs per ounce as of today.
Sure you might have been able to "Play" the stock market and done better...maybe. ..

The Governments of the world have gone through great strides to make folks think that their paper empires will last forever. NONE ever have.

Gold and Silver and other THINGS of value have through the centuries been both a store of wealth and and medium of exchange. (politics and unjust laws forbidding their use notwithstanding)

yet even these THINGS of intrinsic value will fade away one day, the only thing that will last forever, that will abide is the word of GOD that liveth and abideth forever.

Yet what will the streets be made of in the New Jerusalem? PAPER?

Greetings!

I would like to illustrate today, just how far apart different retail folks on the Internet can be as they decide to mark up coins and then pretend after the mark up that the coins are of value to the collector at the price they offer. Case in point:

The 2005 United States Legacy Collection proof set. This set of Coins had a limited production, of less then 100,000 according to one seller and of 50 thousand according to another.( the Mint said 50,000) It really does not matter much. The coins contain silver as all proof sets do( except for the penny and the gold tones dollar) But the silver value at this point matters even less then the limited edition value. ( even though the so called advisers that are trying to sell you this set claim both) OK How much is this set actually worth? Well in the realm of unjust weights and measures, it really depends on your suckerability. The folks at Marketworks.com are offering this set for $399$. WOW what a deal!
Then of course there are the coin experts at Jetproofs.com who are saying DITTO with the above and are offering this fine investment for $299$ also, with the marine coin alone being offered separately for $150$ (along with a stamp worth a few cents) So after looking around and seeing folks bring me coins like these and wanting to know how much I will give them for these RARE limited edition SILVER PROOFS I thought it might help to show that these are NOT RARE. 50,000 to 100,000 proofs are NOT a LIMITED PRODUCTION that will effect the ultimate Value. There are several companies including EBAY that have these same coins for as little as $119$ plus shipping. THE US MINT SOLD THEM FOR $135$ and they are notorious for marking stuff up.
Like I said, I have seen these on EBAY for as little as 119 and a few shops for less then 150
look around a bit and find out that the ALL AMERICAN COIN COMPANY in Florida is offering the exact same set for $149$ and to be honest they are on the high side if you are simply wanting a coin. ( NOT UNFAIR JUST A LITTLE HIGH). ( I know a fellow who is selling the set for 135 and I think he will take less if asked nicely.
SO Beware of these deals posing as investments...

Here we have a wonderful debate between Congressman Ron Paul and a former member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Charles Partee. This was a debate before the Ludwig von Mises Institute in Washington D.C.

It was called the Capitol Hill Gold Conference in November 1983. Please listen to this whole Debate as you will see Ron Paul, who is the ONLY Presidential Candidate running in the 2008 election that actually understands and believes the Constitution is the defining document and final man made written law of the United States of America. He is also the only man in congress that I am aware of that has any idea
whatsoever what real money is and what real freedom is.

Please listen to this careful examination of the difference between real money fake money is. You will see the difference between a system of Just weights and Measures and the thievery of the system known today as the federal reserve system.
